For a Stronger, Safer, and More Livable Los Angeles.
DOING THE WORK. TOGETHER.
Katy Yaroslavsky ran for office to take on challenges too often dismissed as unfixable—and she’s delivering real results. In just two years, she’s helped reduce street homelessness in Council District Five by 15%, expanded tenant protections to keep renters housed, secured historic funding for survivors of domestic violence, and invested in safer streets with more officers on patrol, connected and expanded bike lanes, and cleaner neighborhoods. She’s also leading the fight for a sustainable future, phasing out oil drilling in residential areas, planting hundreds of trees across the District, and championing bold climate solutions.
Katy is running for re-election to build on this progress, and tackle the challenges that remain. She’s leading the effort to triple the number of interim housing beds in CD5, creating immediate shelter for the unhoused while hundreds of affordable housing units are brought online. With new Metro D (Purple) Line stations set to open soon and the 2028 Olympics on the horizon, she’s seizing this moment to drive transformational change and deliver lasting progress to every community in Council District Five.
